Kangaroo Olympiad Students

MGL Math Center’s First Kangaroo Olympiad

Hey there! We’ve got some exciting news to share from the MGL Math Center. We just wrapped up our very first Kangaroo Olympiad, and it was a blast! The event took place on March 23rd at the new Mongolian Heritage Center in Prospect Heights, and it was a day to remember.

A whopping 30 of our brilliant students took part in this exciting math challenge. We’re talking about kids from all different grades – from 1st all the way up to 10th grade! Imagine that! Kids of all ages came together, solving problems and having a great time.

We’ve been gearing up for this day since around New Year’s, so it’s been quite the journey. Both our students and teachers put in tons of effort, working hard to prepare for the big day. And let me tell you, all that hard work definitely paid off!

We’re super proud of every single student who took part. Participating in something like this is no small feat, and we’re just beaming with pride over here!

Now, I know everyone is eager to hear about the results and answers. Well, here’s the scoop: the answer key will be available on the MK webpage exactly one month and one day after the competition – so keep your eyes peeled for that. As for the scores, they’ll be ready in your user accounts on May 1st. And if you’re wondering about the winners, the Math Kangaroo website will have all that info on June 1st.

We want to give a huge shoutout to all the parents who supported us through this adventure. Your encouragement means the world to us and the kids. And guess what? Once we get those certificates and awards, we’re planning a special event to celebrate. So, stay tuned!

Thanks again to everyone who made this possible. We can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
