A Successful Round 2 and Looking Ahead to Round 3

We are thrilled to share that the MOEMS Math Olympiad Round 2 took place successfully on December 14th! We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone who participated. Whether you tackled the problems from the comfort of your home or joined us in person, your dedication and hard work truly shone through.

This year’s results continue to highlight a noteworthy trend: on average, participants who attended the test in person tended to achieve higher scores than those who competed online. While we encourage all students to choose the format that suits them best, it’s interesting to see how the environment can influence performance. For those considering future rounds, this might be something to keep in mind.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that Round 3 is scheduled for either January 18th or January 25th. We’ll finalize and share the exact date as soon as possible. After the holiday season, our team will begin preparations in earnest to ensure the next round runs just as smoothly—and is just as challenging and rewarding—as the previous two.

In the meantime, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Enjoy the holidays, spend time with family and friends, and recharge for the next stage of the competition. We’ll be back with updates after the New Year, ready to guide you toward an even more successful Round 3.

Great job to all the participants once again, and here’s to continued learning, growth, and mathematical discovery!
